Encouraging Thoughts + some amazing music

You are
unfulfilled because God
did not create you to dance
for this world.
 He intended
 for you to dance
for Him.

Random Ramblings

Today I was thinking...I should probably make more blog posts. Sorry, about the fact I've only been posting once a week...well, more like once every other week. I just came across an article. It was about where bloggers apologize about being missing for a week or so. It could be summed up with, "nobody actually cares if you didn't post for a week. You're really not that important." sigh* I like to think someone enjoys reading what I write :)

We'll I couldn't really think of anything interesting to write. lol. So here are some amazing pictures!

 The weather is getting warmer!
It was 53 degrees out and I was dieing of heat today. pathetic, I know.
So considering this post is pretty random, I thought I might as well show you this amazing picture.
My brother took it on our trip to China.
This picture is also from out trip to China. The Zoo was amazing! We got to feed the tigers. and the giraffes.
"He loves us with an unfailing love." Psalm 117:2
Please do not use pictures.
All pictures were taken by my brother.

Spring Break is Soon!!!

I'm superduper excited for spring break. I want to have all my school done. I want the week completely off. I'm not sure what I'm going to be doing for spring break though. Anyone have some really cool plans?

So I entered a contest via polyvore. You should go head over here and like my set that I made for the contest. While you're at it why not follow me to? :P Tell me if you follow or like my profile over there! If you have polyvore share your link, we'd love to check out what you've created!

Peacock Fashion

I made this set, and with, hopefully, the obvious theme of peacocks. Its a cute outfit for warmer weather. Maybe it'll get warm enough during spring break. I guess it hasn't rained since this morning here, so that is always a good sign. Right? Would you wear something like this? I think I might. But I might change the pants to a different style and opt out of the peacock feather earrings. I really like the shirt :)

Winter Wonderland

Perhaps. We just got two entire inches of snow. I'm very happy. I know, to some of you that probably sounds pathetic, whats the big deal about 2 inches of snow. But out here where I live its a very big deal. They've closed roads down and literally everything has been canceled because were having a snowstorm!

*we can ignore the fact it just stopped snowing*

I know that when the weather gets cold, hair gets dried out easier. There are some easy tips to follow to help the problem though. Like take a shower every other day, with cold water. But in case your needed a little something more here's a Hair Mask that'll help rescue your gorgeous locks.

You'll need:

1/2 cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoons light olive oil
3 to 4 drops essential oil of peppermint
1 to 2 drops essential oil of rosemary or 1 sprig fresh rosemary

To make it you just put all the ingredients into a blender or a food processor and blend them until you have a nice smooth mixture. To use it you'll shampoo your hair like normal and then apply the mixture. Gently massage the mixture into your scalp. Then wrap your hair in a old towel or put a shower cap on and leave it on for about 15 to 20 minutes. Afterwards rinse your hair well with warm water and simply style as usual. tadaaa!!!

Operation Beautiful

Whats operation beautiful? Well, its basically an operation to tell people that their beautiful via sticky notes.
Simple yes, but its affecting lots of people in a positive way. I remember finding a little sticky note on a mirror. It said, "You're beautiful." Underneath it said operation beautiful. I had to smile when I saw it, and I haven't forgotten about it.

I think the idea of writing little notes to people via sticky notes can make a big impact.

"Operation Beautiful is an amazing book and movement that greatly helps women take control and start slicing out self-hate, stitching up self-esteem, and finally start healing from all the body drama that's making us sick!" -Nancy Redd, New York Times bestselling author of Body Drama: Real Girls, Real Bodies, Real Issues, Real Answers

Imagine if one day your feeling down. Then you walk into a bathroom and see a note, saying, "You're beautiful." It helps to make your day better. I think that what Caitlin Boyle started was amazing. Chances are she didn't image that she'd write a book and have be review by New York Times Best Selling authors. She probably didn't expect people to pick up the idea and that it would spread all around the world. But it has  :)

I got a twitter account...

Yes I did. I got a twitter account. You should come and follow me. The address thingy is below. Its pretty cool, but I've yet to get it completely set up. I want it to show up on my blog....but I haven't quite figured it out. Well, see though, hopefully I'll get it all straightened out soon. Oh and about the hamburgers on the slide show. I haven't forgotten. about that I'll try to remove them as soon as possible too. I've tried several times, but I haven't figured out quite yet what to put up there. I don't know about you but I don't find the hamburger with mayo to appetizing.

I have a dog. Whose name is molly. She is completely amazingly and extremely obsessed with food. But shes a lot of fun in her own little crazy way. I absolutely love her. Well, okay, she gets really annoying a lot. But still...She really likes to go to the beach! It is fun to watch her sprint along the edge of the water. Then come darting back, as if she could keep running all day long.

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 5:8

Remember Bethany Dillon's song Beautiful? (I wrote about it in a previous post) In her song she had written, "You step inside my heart, and I am amazed".

"But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:37-39

God loves us. God is love. We don't have to feel God's love to know that its there. Love from God can help to give us confidence. Right? The fact that the Creator of the Universe loves us unconditionally is a pretty big thing :)

About Me

I wouldn't exactly call myself a fashionista. I'm totally sitting on the coach in pajamas and its noon. In my defense its been a very quite day. Which I have been taking full advantage of. Anyways, the definition of fashionista is a person who devoted to fashion clothing particularly high end or unique fashion and does not follow trends. Well high end fashion is pretty expensive, and my style is pretty typical. Well, okay its a little unique because its me. Isn't unique a weird word though? Think about. Everyone is unique. Its kinda of makes it an oxymoron, right?

I would say the thing I appreciate the most in my makeup bag would be mascara. My basic look would be mascara, tinted moisturizer, and some lip gloss. I also like to play around with different eye shadow colors. I'm really lovin blue and purple at the moment. My makeup is pretty much from walmart and lancome. I would say its from walmart because thats usually cheapest. I use lancome because that's where I first started getting makeup with my mom. I haven't really used other brands yet, but I love to experiment.

I love music and tennis! My dream career would probably be a concert pianist. But that requires a lot of practice which I like to do, but I should probably be practicing more if I'm ever going to be a professional pianist. I've recently learned Revolutionary Etude by Chopin, and I'd say that that is my biggest recent accomplishment. I can't wait for tennis season to start. I love it! Tennis is amazing for those of you who don't know yet. It is more complicated then it looks though.... :)

Hello!

Hey! Welcome to this new blog! I'm hoping that its going to live up to your amazing expectations. With tips, tricks, and lots of ideas hopefully you'll find something interesting on this blog. I'd love to have your help and if you want to help participate in making this Stardom a one of a kind blog just email me at stardom_randomness@yahoo.com.

Now really, I know I got a lot of work still to do to make this blog more 'presentable' in a way. But it seems to be moving along quite quickly. Well, at I'm trying to get it move along quickly.

I am a musician, blogger, and a designer. Along with music, designing things, and blogging, I go to school. I'd say that I stay quite busy. I have two amazing cats and two amazingly weird dogs. I love them all as weird as they all are. My family? Well they are amazing too :)

My personal style would probably be described as...cute and weird? Actually I really don't know how to describe my style. Its kinda of a combination I guess; its uniquely me. My favorite make thing in my makeup bag right now would probably be my mascara or I love my tinted moisturiser. I do agree with the people who say Vaseline is under-appreciated. I mean, seriously, it does everything! Lip gloss, foot cream, and a makeup remover and its totally affordable.

Hopefully you'll find what your looking for on this blog! I'd love to have you follow along on this journey into a world of fashion and other random things. Leave a comment, follow along, or email me! I'd love to know how you think I'm doing. Oh and I do plan on changing the picture of the hamburger out :P
